Just a couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with Angel and Jordan, who are such a super sweet couple! When we first began planning our shoot, Angel said she'd like to do something with flowers. Luckily, I live out in the country side and knew of a field of wild little white flowers!! It was such a fun and sweet shoot, I love photo shoots like these!

Summer love story photo shoot!

Recently one of my closest friends, Kandace, asked me about doing a photo shoot for her and her sweet boyfriend Tyler. I of course was thrilled, as Kandace is super beautiful and has always been one my favorite models! 

On the day of the shoot her and Tyler drove me to the location where they had their first date, out in the country! We had so much fun with all the woods and tall grass. Their care for one another became immediately apparent as we began shooting, I barely had to pose these two! Every thing they did was just entirely too sweet! Shabby Chic Bridal Shoot: St. Simon's Island

Today I'm doing some backtracking..

So.. just a month or so ago I graduated from photography school! Yay! Before I could finish and graduate I had to do an internship with a photographer who inspired me. I was super blessed to have the opportunity to work with a wedding photographer on St. Simon's Island named Sarah DeShaw. 

Sarah is an extremely talented photographer and also one of the kindest people you will meet. She helped me learn so much during my month long stay on the island and I am very grateful to her! Before we finished up with my internship she set up this bridal shoot for me using one of the other gorgeous photographers who worked for her, Caitlin. 

Our shoot started out under the pier and on the beach and we ended up migrating to another photographer's home to get some super fun shots with her beautiful chickens! I'm super in love with how these images turned out and I am entirely too thankful to Sarah DeShaw and Caitlin for helping me with it all!! 

We actually hand made her floral crown and bouquet from flowers in Sarah's yard!

Miranda & Eric: A southern chic engagement shoot!

I was thrilled when my friend Miranda first spoke to me about shooting her engagement portraits, not only would she be a ton of fun to work with, she also has great taste! She said she wanted to something with a rustic shabby chic vibe (which is my absolute fav!) and she wanted them to be sweet. 

On the day of their engagement photo shoot we were driven nearly insane by mosquitoes, having to swat and scratch after nearly every shot! Luckily, these two sweethearts are so photogenic and have so much fun together their session still turned out to be a blast and their photos are so sweet I couldn't help but smile as I made my selections!
